KaraTau Consulting opened a branch office in Dushanbe, Tajikistan at the request of SANTOS in order to provide them with a number of support services which included a seismic surveying supervisor, wellhead equipment inspection, rig inspections, due diligence surveys, drilling engineering including well design work and a full EHS Legal register document set.
Locally SANTOS were operating under the name of SOMON OIL (local JV) with MANAS PETROLEUM as another international partner.
